Beer Can Race Series
Races 5 & 6 on Saturday, May 31st

We had a good turn out for the races so far, and it's not too late for you to join in the fun. You get to spend the day sailing, and then gather at the yacht club afterwards for snacks and drinks. Here are the results of races 1 thru 4 and the pictures are available in the gallery.

Email race captains Rick and Roy if you plan to enter. It is free for CMYC members and just $25 for non-members. These are fun races for all types of sailors & racers.

In Memory

Past Commodore Jim Clark passed away May 3rd in Dallas. Jim was Commodore in 1986. He is survived by his wife, Cathy.

Be a Courteous Boater

Our membership is generally a very friendly, social, and courteous group. One area we need to remember to extend that to is our time on the water on our boats.

Remember that while under power, you have the responsibility for your boat wake. When in or near a harbour, location with anchored or docked boats, or in the area of a no wake bouy: slow down! Legally, you are responsible for any damage your wake causes.

When heading from your slip to the gas dock, please take your time and go slow. It will make your fellow yacht club members happy!
